The EU funded project POLARIN invites the scientific community to submit proposals to access 31 Research Infrastructures (RIs) in both polar regions, contributing to addressing key research priorities.

EU Arctic Forum, Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue and Arctic Youth Dialogue
The European Commission in association with the European External Action Service will organise the EU Arctic Forum, Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue and Arctic Youth Dialogue in Brussels on 1-2 September 2026, with side events on 3 September.

Session focused on the Arctic Ocean that will be part of the 8th Xiamen Symposium on Marine Environmental Sciences (XMAS-8) to be held in Xiamen, China, January 12-15, 2027. The session is entitled "Arctic Ocean: Physical Processes and their Effects on Climate and the Ecosystem ".

POLARIN Launches First TA Call for Access to Core Repositories
The POLARIN project will open its first Transnational Access (TA) Call for Access to Core Repositories on 15 December. POLARIN has four core repositories in its network: UiT CORES, BAS-PSCF, AWI-SED, AWI-ICE. In this first call, access will be offered to two repositories: UiT CORES and BAS-PSCF.
