6° convegno nazionale Apecs Italia, Pesaro 3-4 ottobre 2024

il 6° convegno nazionale Apecs Italia si svolgerà Giovedì 3 e Venerdì 4 ottobre 2024, presso Palazzo Gradari a Pesaro. L'evento è nominalmente dedicato al 65° anniversario della formalizzazione del Trattato Antartico. Nel corso del convegno saranno trattati differenti ambiti tematici quali: Scienze della Terra; Scienze della Vita; Scienze Chimiche; Scienze Fisiche; Scienze Umanistiche.

International Symposium on Geomatics, Remote Sensing and Climate Change in the Arctic, Antarctica and High Mountain Asia, Shanghai, China, September 25-27 2024

The Arctic, Antarctica and High Mountain Asia are considered to be the most sensitive regions to global climate change, driven by cross-spheric interactions. Changes in these regions have a significant impact on the living environment and societal developments. The rapid development of satellite remote sensing technology has facilitated the observation and retrieval of critical environmental parameters in the Arctic, Antarctica and High Mountain Asia.

29th International Polar Conference 16 - 20 September, Rauris

The 29th International Polar Conference "Dynamic Poles and High Mountain Environments" is set to take place at the Mesnerhaus in Rauris, Austria, from 16 to 20 September 2024. Co-organized by the German Society of Polar Research and the Austrian Polar Research Institute (APRI), this transdisciplinary event will feature scientific talks, an extensive poster session, and will offer ample space for intensive discussions for polar and high mountain enthusiasts.

The 15th Symposium on Polar Science, 3-5 December, Tokyo

The 15th Symposium on Polar Science hosted by the National Institute of Polar Research (NIPR), Tokyo, Japan, will be held from 3 to 5 December 2024. The NIPR is organizing this annual symposium to present and promote a wide variety of polar scientific research and interdisciplinary studies. We look forward to your active participation. The symposium will include both oral and poster sessions. Oral sessions will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing in-person and online participation. Poster sessions will be held exclusively on-site at the symposium venue.

Cryo2Ice Symposium, 23-27 September 2024 Reykjavik, Iceland

The Cryo2Ice Symposium focuses on work that makes use of CryoSat-2 or ICESat-2 or a combination of both satellites. Missions Status: including CryoSat-2 and ICESat-2 satellite systems, sensors, and data operations, calibration and validation. Sea Ice: including lead detection, snow loading, sea ice freeboard, roughness, thickness, dynamics and thermodynamics.
